This appropriately instructive image, courtesy of my good friend Greg, will be published from time to time to ensure you do not stray during Elder Advice’s occasional absences. When my day job gets in the way.
But I write now because several readers reported the plaintive request for monetary pledges of support in a banner at the bottom of this week’s Elder Advice. Which Substack slipped in once again without my knowledge. As I have said previously, like all the other best things in life - the moon, the stars, the flowers in spring, the robins that sing etc. - Elder Advice will always be free. So no pledges are needed and requests for them should be ignored.
Instead, fulfil your serious and deeply felt obligation to Elder Advice by:
(i) pressing the Like button repeatedly; or
(ii) in the inconceivable event you believe that Elder Advice is mistaken, by Commenting.
Regards, Tim
I always enjoy your comments on life with all its ups and downs.
Always a bracing and insightful read.
